Commonly, when the summer season is coming near, any people in different age indeed will prepare their own plan to spend their summer vacation especially to visit any beautiful beaches right? In case for people who really love to conduct outdoor activity especially in spending time to certain places exposed by the sunlight mostly such as beach, they must understand that such condition sometimes may cause bad effect to their body. The fact is that people spend leisure time on the beach in many reasons such as swimming, tanning, or simply gathering with friends or family. It is true that for some people, tanned skin looks sexier as well as attractive to other people.

What you need to know is that people have different skin condition that can deal with the UV of the sun. It means that sometimes, when they expose their skin too much by the sunlight, certain skin problem may occur. Commonly, people call such skin problem as sun allergy. The symptom is usually the rash on your skin that feels so stingy and sometimes getting worse if you fail to conduct treatment as soon as possible. Sun allergy for some people become a common problem of their skin. It is actually not dangerous if people know how to deal with such skin problem. The idea to visit dermatologist indeed become the general knowledge for any people who suffer from skin problem.

Another thing that people should know about sun allergy is that it doesn't always occur on summer or heat season but also sometimes on winter. People who have very vulnerable resistant against sunlight indeed must know how to manage their activity in avoiding direct sunlight right? The main consideration about sun allergy is that people who have severe problem about this allergy can even gain worse skin condition that can lead to skin cancer. Commonly, people may use cream and drugs in order to remove such skin problem. Yet, there is another method that perhaps can make your effort more efficient and satisfying. 

What I try to say above is about the method that is related to what you consume. It is indeed that the statement such as "you are what you eat" is true. The food that you consume indeed may affect significantly to your health condition. In order to preventing acne to get worse and even removing it, there are several things that you should really pay attention.

First is that you should avoid food that contains much sugar such as cake, sweets, or any other unhealthy drinks. You need to realize that food that contains too much carbohydrate also can trigger your blood sugar level to increase. Such substance may make your skin to produce to much oil which is the main factor that can make acne to occur. 

Second, you must know that milk also has bad effect to such kind of skin problem. The fact is that milk contains many substances that seem unhealthy to your skin. It is indeed that consuming milk has many benefits for people. Yet, it doesn't mean that consuming too much milk will be permitted. If you really care about your skin condition, you need to consider to eat more vegetable and fruits in order to enhance your skin cell to reproduce better and make you younger. Especially in dealing with acne, good diet will provide better effort to overcome acne from the inside right?

Accept Your Depression



Let’s discuss about the situation when you feel so much terrible in living your life such as depression. If we are talking about depression, we always remember the time when we feel so inferior and frustrated about our life. Such condition is the mental problem that often occurs in people who have problems in their life that can be from any aspects such as works, social life, illness and more. Sometimes, mostly of the people don’t realize that they are being in such condition and keep saying that they are ok. Actually, such denial of being in the state of depression will make such problem become worse. By accepting the truth that you need help from such depression problem in your life, you can conduct the efforts to overcome your depression as soon as possible.

In detecting that people are suffering such depression problem, we need to pay attention on some symptoms that may become the main indications. First, people who suffer of depression tend to have low mood in conducting any activities. They often feel self-centered any anti-socials in being depressed. In eating behavior, the depressed people can both become over-eating and refuse to eat. Those conditions can lead people in very bad condition of the health. The depressed people also always negative thoughts about themselves and other people. Sometimes, the worst condition is that they have suicidal thoughts because of such depression that they cannot bear anymore. People having depression also can easily be irritated. They show bad temper for other people. They also feel unworthy about themselves so that they will avoid any social interaction as often as possible.

We also need to know the triggers of depression that can come to you. People can easily feel depressed if they lose their lovely person, whether because of the broken relationship or death. The deep sadness feeling can make people fall into depression. The other trigger is about the works. People can fall into depression if they get fired by their employers or because they have frustrated job that can lead them to depression. Loneliness and having no friends can make people easily fall into such mental problem. Therefore, it is much recommended to have chats with friends if you feel lonesome and need to share your feeling. For women, depression can occur because of the change of biological condition such as Post Menstruation Syndrome and also pregnancy. That explains why women can easily be irritated when they have such biological condition.

Like I stated before, the first thing that you must do is to accept the realty that you have such mental problem like depression. Knowing that you have depressed, you can easily help yourself to cope with the problem. Second, you can set up your goals to do as your objectives to achieve. Such determined will can make you focus on your target and forget about such condition of being depressed. Third, we must eat the healthy food as well to support our body to repel the depression problem. By doing the volunteer work can significantly help people of being depressed because they will interact with many people and they also can feel that they are worthy for other people. Such self feeling of worthiness can make people understand that they are useful for people so that they can build positive mindset to overcome their depression. The most popular method to cope with depression is by doing the regular exercise. Yoga can be the best choice as your exercise to overcome depression because you will get both physically and mentally relaxation from such yoga.

While some people may take anti-depressant pills as their solution to overcome depression, people need to understand that such depression is significantly related to their behavior. If they can conduct the positive and good behaviors, it means that they can deal with depression without any difficulties. The function of friends is really significant here because they can help us to deal with our depression fast. Friends are the free consultants to share our problem with so that we won’t feel lonely and unworthy. Understand what becomes the trigger of your depression, accept it, and conduct positive efforts to overcome it by yourself or with the help of your friends. Then the problem of depression is no more in your life.

"No" means "Never" to Smoke


Cigarette is the product of tobbaco which is produced from the plants Nicotiana Tobacum, Nicotiana Rustica and the other species containing nicotine and tar . Nicotine is the substance contained in those plants which is so addictive. There is almost 0.3 up to 5% of the dry weight nicotine coming from the biosynthesis process in the root which then is accumulated to the leaf. The substance is carcinogen in nature which can trigger the lung cancer. The nicotine also stimulates the adrenaline hormone of the kidney which can trigger: the increase of the heart beat, and the  increase of  blood pressure and blood cholesterol level which is the source of heart attack.

There is a traditional way to monitor and detect the health problems of human body. It is by checking the condition of the nail. Andrea Cambio, the FAAD of American Academy of Dermatology said that nail is the health reflection of people. By checking the condition of human's nails, we can notice what kind of health problems we have. 

Yellow Nail
The main cause of the nails become yellow is the fungus infection. The worse progress fungus infection makes the nail thicker and more fragile. The yellow nail also the sign of having the worse health problem such as severe thyroid, lung problem, diabetes, and psoriasis.

Swollen and Folded Nail
If we have reddish and swollen area around the nail, it might be the sign of the inflammation and also the sign of Lupus disease and the connective tissue problem.

Black Striped Nail
You should ask for the doctor check up. It is the sign of Melanoma, a kind of the worst skin cancer. It is the serious one.

Bluish Nail
The bluish nail indicates that the body has insufficient oxygen. It is also the sign of lung infection such as pneumonia. If we see only on the peak part of the nail which is bluish, it indicates the diabetes disease.

Pale Nail
The pale nail is related to the aging problem. It also indicates 4 serious disease such as anemia, heart failure, liver problem, and malnutrition.

White Nail
The white nail which has dark area on the peak of the nail indicates the liver problem such as hepatitis.

Rough Nail
The rough nail indicates the first sign of psoriasis or arthritis inflammation. The condition is the change of nail color into reddish brown.

Cracked Nail
The craked nail is related to the thyroid disease. It is also the main problem of the fungus infection.

Sometimes, there are people who used to bite their nail. The common people will assume that is a usual habit. Nonetheless, bitting nail may indicate the mental problem such as excessive fear and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Cholesterol



People always talk about cholesterol yet they don’t really understand what the cholesterol is. Here I want to discuss about cholesterol.
What is cholesterol?
Cholesterol is the fatty substance circulating in the blood which is produced by the liver. The substance is necessary for our body, but, it will be a problem having excessive cholesterol especially circulating in the heart and brain blood vessels.

Where does the cholesterol come from?
Everyone does have cholesterol circulating in their blood. The source is 80% produced by the body and 20% comes from food consumed. There are two kinds of cholesterol, HDL and LDL.
LDL is the bad one. If we have excessive LDL circulating inside our blood, it will be precipitated on the wall of blood vessel which interfere its flow.
HDL is the good cholesterol functioning as the filter of the excessive LDL. The high rate of HDL is good news as long as the LDL is below 150 mg/dl.
There is Triglyceride fat which is produced from the food metabolism. It is an excessive fat produced when we consume unnecessary energy from food.  

Why can the high blood cholesterol be dangerous?
The high blood cholesterol is one of the factors causing these health problems:
1. Stoppage/plaque of the heart blood vessel which can cause heart attack.
2. Stoppage/plaque of the brain blood vessel which can cause stroke.

How can we monitoring the level of cholesterol?

The only way to monitor our cholesterol level is by checking the blood sample taken after doing a night fasting or approximately 10-12 hours.

What is the normal blood cholesterol level?
Total cholesterol <200 mg/dl
HDL cholesterol 35-65 mg/dl
LDL cholesterol <150 mg/dl
Triglyceride < 200 mg/dl
Total cholesterol ratio: HDL cholesterol <5

What can cause the increasing of the blood cholesterol?
1. Genetic Factor
As we know that human body produces 80% of blood cholesterol. There are some people having more cholesterol production than the others. It may be caused by the genetic factor which he inherit his elder cholesterol production.
 2. Food Factor
Fat is important in metabolism. It is used as the source energy for the human body. Nonetheless, it will cause problems in our blood circulation if consuming excessively. Meats are the main source of fat and there are two kind of it:
a. saturated fat: meat, coconut oil
b. unsaturated fat: omega 3 , 6, and 9 fat acid
Well, I think that’s the simple explanation I can give right now. Later in the next article, I will give some tips how to maintain the cholesterol level of our body
