Broccoli has the latin name Brassica Olaracea. It was firstly cultivated by the Greek. The C vitamin contained in this vegetable is more than the Orange has. Physically, it is similar to the cauliflower. There are many nutrition contained in broccoli such as carotenoid or A vitamin, E vitamin, folate acid, and of course C vitamin. Beauty experts said that the A vitamin contained in this vegie has the better antioxidant of the C vitamin. It has also benefit for the skin regeneration which prevents the premature aging skin. Here I want to share the other benefits we can get from broccoli:

Broccoli is good to overcome constipation because of its high nutrition of fiber and fivonoid. As we know that fiber is a vital nutrition for the digestion system. The newest research said that broccoli prevents the digestion problem such as maag, flank infection, and the colon cancer. The Japanesse experts found the fact that by consuming 70 gram of broccoli everyday for 2 months can overcome the entire digestion problems. The most important substance contained in the broccoli is sulforaphane which is important also for the liver enzime production. The enzime functions as the filter of carcinogens and removes them from the cell. Moreover, the sulforaphane functions as the prevention of Helicobacter pylori (the bacteria which can cause digestion problem). In the medic, the bacteria is called as the main cause of the colon cancer.

Prevents the Damage of the Blood Vessel Cells

The researchers of Warwick University believes that sulforaphane can restore the damaged blood vessel because of the excessive amount of the sugar blood (hyperglicemia) as the effect of diabetes.

Researchers believed that broccoli has the substance called antiacetylcholineaterase which is good to prevents Alzheimer. A research in King College, London, broccolli has the strongest antiacetylcholineaterase compound than the other vegies.


Broccoli can be consumed freshly or we can make it as the salad  mixing. The good broccoli is the one which has the dark green color and has the rough physical form. The another way to consume it is by drinking it as juice.
